a proposal submitted by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - Division of Social Sciences
for the establishment of a new academic unit - Department of Naval Science
 
Rationale:

This request is to establish the Department of Naval Science. Currently the NROTC Unit is listed as a program at ASU.
