The Curriculum and Academic Programs Committee recommends University Senate approval of a proposal submitted by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies - for the establishment of an undergraduate certificate in Political Thought and Leadership
Rationale:
The Certificate in Political Thought and Leadership is intended to provide highly-motivated students with a thorough grounding in the history of politics and political thought, with a special emphasis on the role of leadership in this history, in order to help prepare them for leadership in their own careers, political or otherwise.
