Title of Motion: Request from the College of Nursing and Health Innovation –– for the name change of an undergraduate degree – From: BS in Health Care Innovation – To: BS in Health Innovation

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The request to change the name of the major from Health Care Innovation to Health Innovation is consistent with the current focus of the academic program to reflect a broader perspective of health, and not limited perspective on healthcare.  The proposed change to the name of the major to Health Innovation supports this direction.
