Title of Motion: Request from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – for the establishment of a new academic unit – School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership
Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.
Rationale: The School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership will advance the understanding of moral and political thought, economic principles in a free society, and leadership in both theory and practice.
