Title of Motion: Request from the College of Nursing and Health Innovation– for the disestablishment of a graduate certificate – Community and Public Health Practice

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: This certificate does not have any students enrolled. Students have not been admitted to this certificate for over ten years.  The current job market does not support graduates of this certificate program.  Community Health Centers are seeking nurse practitioners for community health.  CONHI offers an MS in Nursing in Care Coordination.
