Title of Motion: Request from the Watts College of Public Service & Community Solutions–Change Academic Organization Code–Undergraduate Certificate–Cross Sector Leadership

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.  

Rationale: Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions is requesting the undergraduate certificate be moved to one of its schools (School of Public Affairs), changing the academic organization from CPP to CPUBAFF. The faculty and staff responsible for the administration, advising, and instruction for the certificate are all located with the School of Public Affairs, the school is a more appropriate home to this program. The CPP courses required for the certificate will also be modified from CPP to PAF to be reflective of this change and the administration of the program.
