Title of Motion: Request from the – College of Liberal Arts & Sciences – School of Historical, Philosophical & Religious Studies – for the disestablishment of a graduate certificate – Scholarly Publishing

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

 Rationale: Given the changing composition of our faculty and the shrinking of traditional scholarly publishing as a field, we have shifted our energies to other realms of graduate education. There are no students enrolled in the program, and we predict there will be no impact on other courses of study.
