Title of Motion: Request from the – College of Health Solutions – for the name change of an undergraduate degree – from:  BS in Science of Health Care Delivery– to: BS in Health Care Administration and Policy

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.    

Rationale: Investigation with the college's marketing, recruitment and student services teams found that “Health Care Administration and Policy” better reflects the program content for a broader undergraduate audience while still aligning with the established health care delivery domains of leadership, population health, informatics, health care management, and health economics & policy.
