Title of Motion: Request from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College – Division of Teacher Preparation – for the establishment of an undergraduate degree – BAE in Physical Education

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The Bachelor of Arts in Education in Physical Education program will produce PreK-12 certified physical education professionals who play a central role in ensuring that future generations of Arizona children and youth have the skills and knowledge to lead physically active and healthy lives.
