Title of Motion: Request from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MA in Narrative and Emerging Media

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: This joint degree between the Cronkite School and Herberger Institute seeks to merge the disciplines of journalism, art, and media production to elevate digital storytelling.
