Title of Motion: Request from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – Department of English – for the establishment of an undergraduate degree – BA in Culture, Technology and Environment

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale:  The BA in Culture, Technology and Environment will allow students to engage with historical, ethical, literary, linguistic or rhetorical, and cultural dimensions of humans as part of the environments they inhabit and the role that culture and technology play in facilitating relationships within communities and between the human and the nonhuman.
