Title of Motion: Request from the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts – for the establishment of a new academic unit – School of Applied Professional Studies

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.

Rationale: The objective of the new school is to unify three programs; 1) Organizational Leadership, 2) Project Management, and 3) Technical Communication into one school serving two campuses. The school will be the hub for the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts’ focus on career-connected learning outcomes.
