Title of Motion: Request from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – School of Human Evolution and Social Change – for the transfer of an undergraduate degree – BS in Applied Mathematics for the Life and Social Sciences – From: School of Human Evolution and Social Change – To: School of Complex Adaptive Systems, College of Global Futures

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The degree and students would be better served by moving it to the College of Global Futures, School of Complex Adaptive Systems. The College of Global Futures has provided support stating reasons for requesting this transition, resources to better serve the students, and plans to develop these programs congruent with their goals.
