Title of Motion: Request from Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation – for the establishment of a graduate degree – DPP in Regulatory and Clinical Research Management

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The ASU Doctorate of Professional Practice (DPP) in Regulatory and Clinical Research Management focuses on preparing global leaders who will influence the medical and healthcare industry through the development of new medical products (drugs, biologics, vaccines, devices) and other FDA regulated products to address the health needs of the consumer. An interdisciplinary curriculum weaves innovation, technology, bioinformatics, policy, leadership methods and strategies with regulatory and clinical research management to ensure graduates meet the industry workforce needs and are capable, high-functioning, innovative leaders.
