Title of Motion: Request from W. P. Carey School of Business – Dean’s Office, W. P. Carey School of Business – for the establishment of an undergraduate degree – AS in Logistics and the concentration in Logistics (Maritime)

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: Designed through a partnership between ASU and the U.S. Naval Community College, the Associate of Science in Logistics (Maritime) will allow enlisted personnel access to ASU’s robust learning technology, student support and quality curriculum designed by ASU faculty. At this time, only the concentration in maritime will be offered.
