Title of Motion: Request from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College - Division of Educational Leadership and Innovation – for the name change of a graduate certificate – From: Instructional Design and Performance Improvement – To: Learning Design and Technologies

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The name change will support recruitment for the certificate program. The new program name will be better aligned with standards and terminology within higher education and industry, and attract current practitioners seeking to accelerate their careers.
