Title of Motion: Request from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts – Dean's Office —for the transfer of a graduate degree – MA in Creative Enterprise and Cultural Leadership –From: Dean's Office, Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts – To: The Design School

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: This change will transition the program into an academic unit where it will be fully supported by multiple faculty and administrators. Moving this degree to the The Design School will align this program with other extant and proposed social/cultural design programs and build a stronger cohort of faculty support, mentorship and course offerings.
