Title of Motion: Request from the W. P. Carey School of Business – Department of Marketing – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MS in Marketing and Customer Experience Management

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The MS program in marketing emphasizes customer experience management while delivering a range of skills and knowledge needed to succeed in emerging marketing roles. Students will develop practical skills that can be immediately applied to a current or future marketing career while learning from experienced marketing professionals and participating in real-world marketing projects. Offering a comprehensive education in marketing, this program covers topics such as digital marketing, marketing research and analytics, and brand management. The curriculum emphasizes the latest tools and technologies used in the industry, helping students stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing business landscape.
