Title of Motion: Request from the W. P. Carey School of Business – Department of Supply Chain Management – for the establishment of a graduate degree – DBA in Supply Chain Management

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The DBA in supply chain management is an applied professional doctorate designed for senior professionals with significant managerial experience in supply chain management seeking a terminal doctoral degree. The program combines advanced supply chain knowledge with rigorous coursework in research methods to sustain and amplify leaders who aspire to instill transformative changes in global supply chain management practices.
