Title of Motion: Request from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts – School of Art – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MA in Museum and Curatorial Practices

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The Master of Arts in museum and curatorial practices is focused on the future of the art museum and curatorial practice centered in justice and cultural representation, and an equitable and imaginative art museum practice that is inclusive and relevant for society.
