Title of Motion: Request from the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions – School of Social Work – for the name change of a graduate certificate – From: Domestic Violence and Evidence-Based Practice – To: Domestic Violence Intervention and Victim Advocacy

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The certificate name is being changed to make it more recognizable to students and professionals who want to work in the domestic violence victim advocacy and domestic violence intervention fields.
