Title of Motion: Request from the College of Health Solutions – for the transfer of an undergraduate degree – BS in Public Health – from College of Health Solutions – to the School of Technology for Public Health

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The transition primarily supports accreditation requirements in place by the Council for Education on Public Health (CEPH) by placing all public health programs under one academic unit and leadership. In doing so, this move aligns undergraduate and graduate public health programs within a single academic unit to strengthen degree coherence, faculty governance, and student experience. The change will have minimal impact on current students.
