Title of Motion: Request from the Thunderbird School of Global Management – for the establishment of a graduate certificate – Foundations of Cross-cultural Leadership and Innovation

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The microcertificate in Foundations of Cross-Cultural Leadership and Innovation equips professionals with essential skills to lead effectively in diverse, global environments. Participants will explore the foundations of cross-cultural communication and negotiation, adaptive leadership, digital transformation and innovative strategy, gaining practical tools to navigate complexity, build inclusive teams, and drive impact across cultural boundaries.
