Title of Motion: Request from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication – for the name change of an undergraduate degree – From: BA in Digital Audiences – To: BA in Digital Strategy and Audience Engagement

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The Cronkite School seeks this name change to better align the degree with the skills students learn and to more effectively market the program. While "digital audiences" communicates a concept within the degree, "digital strategy" and "audience engagement" clarify students' professional specializations.
