Title of Motion: Revision ACD002 to clarify the Definition of “Faculty Member”

Action Requested: This motion is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: Updates to the ACD002 definitions of “faculty” to better reflect the diversity and depth of the faculty ranks, and create a definition of “career track faculty member.” These definitions clarify numerous ACD policies referring to “faculty” or different faculty groups. The proposed revisions are detailed in the attached supplemental document.
