Title of Motion: Request from College of Health Solutions – Dean’s Office – for establishment of a new academic unit – School of Health Systems Transformation

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The School of Health Systems Transformation will unify programs focused on how health care is organized, financed, managed and improved, spanning areas such as data analytics, informatics, policy, and leadership. It will bring together disciplines that shape the infrastructure and intelligence of modern health systems and prepare graduates to lead in digital, value-based and population-focused care environments.
