Title of Motion: Request from Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering – School of Sustainable Engineering and Built Environment – for the establishment of a graduate degree – PhD in Environmental Engineering

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The program will provide advanced technical knowledge in environmental engineering, including water and wastewater treatment, air quality management and pollution control, hazardous waste management and remediation, environmental monitoring technologies, complex system modeling, and sustainable infrastructure.
