Title of Motion: Request from Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering – School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks – for the establishment of an undergraduate certificate – Physical Artificial Intelligence Engineering in Robotics and Manufacturing

 

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

 

Rationale: The undergraduate certificate in Physical Artificial Intelligence in Robotics and Manufacturing is designed to prepare students with future-ready skills at the intersection of artificial intelligence, automation, and manufacturing process systems. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, applied projects, and interdisciplinary knowledge that enables students to integrate intelligent systems into physical manufacturing environments.
