Title of Motion: Request from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – Department of Psychology – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MS in Clinical Psychology
Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.
Rationale: The proposed Master of Science in Clinical Psychology will leverage expertise from ASU’s nationally-ranked, and APA accredited, Clinical Psychology PhD program to develop a state-of-the-science program that trains master’s level psychology providers to increase the number of clinicians trained in the science of psychology and increase access to evidence-based psychological services.
