Shirley Rose Elected as P12ALC at-Large Member
The University Academic Council recently selected Shirley Rose, current Professor of English and Tempe campus president, to serve as the at-large representative for the PAC 12 Academic Leadership Coalition (P12ALC). Professor Rose joins fellow faculty members Arnie Maltz, Donna Cataldo, Helene Ossipov and staff member Chuck Barbee as ASU P12ALC representatives. The P12ALC was launched in 2011 to improve the effectiveness and responsiveness of each member school’s shared governance organization; and where commonalities occur, to facilitate academic and research cooperation that is jointly beneficial to participating institutions. Current active P12ALC institutions are: Arizona State University, University of Arizona, University of Colorado, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, University of Southern California, University of Utah, University of California – Los Angeles, University of Washington and Washington State University.
