What unit do you represent?  

Thunderbird School of Global management

How many years have you served on the Senate?

Almost one year

How many years have you been employed at ASU? 

I joined Thunderbird in 2004 and Thunderbird joined ASU Jan. 2015.

What other institutions have you taught at before coming to ASU?  

University of Minnesota, University of Alberta (Canada), University of Calgary (Canada), Simon Fraser University (Canada), INSEAD (France and Singapore), Xian Jaotong University (China)

What is your research and/or creative activities focus?  

Global leadership and cross-cultural management.  Over the past few years, my colleagues and I have conducted a number of vary large-scale studies of thousands of CEOs, executives, and managers in over 80 countries.

Why did you decide to get involved with the Senate?

To represent Thunderbird and to learn about ASU.  Being on the Senate has helped me better understand how this large university operates.

Describe what you have learned during your time on the Senate. 

The important role the faculty play in university decision making. The processes for making various types of decisions. And I have learned about many of my ASU colleagues and their work and interests.

What committees have you participated in, or would like to participate in and what were you able to (or hope to) accomplish.  

I have not served on a committee yet.  

What would you say to your peers who might be considering accepting a nomination or nominating himself or herself for a position on the Senate?  

You will learn about the institution and its members.
