Title of Motion: Request from the College of Nursing and Health Innovation – for the name change of a Graduate Certificate from Child/Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner -  to - Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
 
Action Requested: The Curriculum and Academic Programs Committee recommends University Senate approvalof a proposal submitted by the College of Nursing and Health Innovation – for the name changeof a graduate certificate under the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Advanced NursingPractice – from Child/Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – to Family
 Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
 
Rationale: National certification of the graduate certificate focus area is Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  We are requesting the name change to mirror national certification.  There is no certification for Child/Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
