Title of Motion: Request from the W.P. Carey School of Business – Department of Management – for the name change of an undergraduate certificate From: Certificate in Knowledge Entrepreneurship & Innovation – To: Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Action Requested: The Curriculum and Academic Programs Committee recommends University Senate approval of a proposal submitted by the W.P. Carey School of Business – Department of Management – for the name change of an undergraduate certificate – From: Certificate in Knowledge Entrepreneurship & Innovation – To: Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Rationale: The word Knowledge included in the current certificate name was confusing for students and prospective employers. The new name, Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, more closely aligns with the content of the certificate and is recognizable by students.
