Title of Motion: Request from the College of Nursing and Health Innovation – for the name change of a graduate certificate – from: Geriatric Nursing – to: Interprofessional Healthy Aging

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The name change from Geriatric Nursing to Interprofessional Healthy Aging emphasizes that the graduate certificate program is taught from an interprofessional perspective by a team of faculty from CONHI and the School of Social Work.
