Title of Motion: Request from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication – for the disestablishment of a graduate certificate – Business Journalism

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: This program has been inactive and not accepted applications or enrollment since Fall 2015.  In its place, the Cronkite School launched and online Master of Science Business Journalism program in Fall 2017
