Title of Motion: Request from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College – for the name change of a graduate degree – from MEd in Educational Technology – to MEd in Learning Design and Technologies

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The Master of Education in Education Technology has been re-engineered to focus on the design of learning with technologies. The redesign was prompted by low enrollment, and by consultation with practitioners, including hiring managers that the market required a focus on learning design.
