Title of Motion: Request from Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions – School of Public Affairs – for the transfer of a graduate degree – MA in Emergency Management and Homeland Security – From: Dean’s Office – To: School of Public Affairs

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: Watts College has decided to move the college-level programs to individual schools to maximize efficiency since many of the courses are offered from individual schools. The School of Public Affairs already houses a concentration in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, as well as launching a new undergraduate degree.
