Title of Motion:  Resolution Acknowledging the Foreign Malign Talent Programs, RSP XXX  

Action Requested:  Adopt a resolution

Resolution: Resolved that the University Senate of ASU acknowledges the implementation of RSP, Foreign Malign Talent Programs policy.

Rationale:  In keeping with requirement from the US Government, this policy will provide Foreign Malign Talent policy level guidelines and procedures to identify, prevent, and address potential threats posed by foreign actors seeking to infiltrate, influence, or exploit Arizona State University for malicious purposes. This policy aims to protect University interests, assets, and reputation from foreign interference and espionage activities. It has been approved by the Provost’s Office, Knowledge Enterprise, and the Office of General Council.
