Title of Motion: Request from the School of Technology for Public Health – for the transfer of a graduate degree – MPH in Public Health – From: Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation – To: School of Technology for Public Health

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The new home for the MPH degree will enable us to maximize the organizational structures needed, necessary resources and interdisciplinary competencies required for a MPH degree. Additionally, it will help facilitate faculty research and innovation through interdisciplinary public health teams, all within a broad organizational structure focused on improving the health outcomes for Arizonans and beyond.
