Title of Motion: Request from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – School of Life Sciences – for the disestablishment of the graduate degree – PhD in Plant Biology

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: This was a request by Graduate College to disestablish an inactive program, and the program was never listed in Degree Search. The School of Life Sciences has not had active students in this program for over 10 years now and we do not plan to offer the degree in the future.
