Title of Motion: Request from W. P. Carey School of Business – Department of Supply Chain Management – for the name change of a graduate degree – From: DBA in Supply Chain Management – To: DBA in Business Administration

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: This would be the general DBA program for the college, a strategic level of college planning for the future, and a DBA in Business Administration name reflects this more accurately than a supply chain focus. This change benefits employers to view the degree awarded at a larger scale level from a college over a department.
