Title of Motion: Request from the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions – School of Criminology and Criminal Justice – for the establishment of a graduate degree – DCJ in Criminal Justice

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The Doctor of Criminal Justice (DCJ) program is a professional doctoral degree program designed for mid- to senior-level practitioners in the criminal justice profession, who aspire to be experts that combine practical and academic knowledge in their field in ways that equip them to solve complex criminal justice issues.
