Title of Motion: Request from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering – School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MS in Innovations in Medical and Patient Care Technologies

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The Master of Science in Innovations in Medical and Patient Care Technologies (IMPACT) is designed for engineers eager to deepen their expertise in the rapidly evolving field of healthcare innovation. Graduates will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate the complexities of medical technology development, from concept to execution, preparing them to drive impactful advancements in healthcare.
