Title of Motion: Request from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts – ASU FIDM – for the establishment of an undergraduate degree – BFA in Costume Design and Technology for the Creative Industries

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.

Rationale: Students will learn the foundational technical skills of costume construction and a mastery of script analysis, character development, production practices and how to work with an interdisciplinary creative team.
