Title of Motion: Request from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law – Dean’s Office – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MLS in Health Care Compliance and Administration

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The Master of Legal Studies (MLS) in Health Care Compliance and Administration is designed for non-lawyer professionals working in health care who need a sophisticated understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing medical organizations.
