Title of Motion: Creation of a Health, Wellness and Safety Standing Committee in the Senate 

Action Requested: This motion is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision. 

Rationale: The Ad Hoc Committee on Health, Wellness, and Safety  is addressing important issues that affect and should be made a permanent standing committee.

The Committee seeks to determine the highest-priority health, wellness, and safety concerns among the ASU community (faculty, academic professionals, staff, and students) in order to enhance learning and working environments so that everyone can thrive.
