Title of Motion: Request from Rob Walton College of Global Futures – Rob Walton School of Conservation Futures – for the establishment of a graduate degree – MS in Conservation

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The MS in Conservation prepares students for careers in a rapidly changing environmental landscape through a distinctly transdisciplinary approach that integrates natural and social sciences with applied, real-world training. Grounded in conservation science, the program draws on ecology, policy, economics, and social science to build practical competencies in environmental and natural resource management.
