Title of Motion: Request from Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts – The GAME School – for the disestablishment of a graduate degree – MA in Digital Culture

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: The Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts was approved to establish the MS in Digital Culture (HIDGCMS), which is replacing the MA in Digital Culture (HIDGCMA). The MS designation is more appropriate for the computational and technical research that our students and faculty practice.
