Title of Motion: Request from Rob Walton College of Global Futures – School of Innovation Futures – for the name change of an undergraduate degree – From: BS in Innovation in Society – To: BS in Strategic Foresight and Futures

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: Futures and foresight, which have always been integral to the degree, are quickly growing, internationally recognized fields that bring forward-looking leadership and adaptability to business and government.
