Title of Motion: Request from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – School of Molecular Sciences – for the establishment of an undergraduate degree – BS in Clinical Chemistry

Action Requested: This curricular proposal has received all college, school, unit and university administrative approvals, and is being presented to the Senate for review and voting decision.   

Rationale: In the Bachelor of Science in Clinical Chemistry students will learn advanced analytical chemistry techniques used in blood and tissue sampling patient diagnostics or academic research. This degree program will prepare students to be global citizens in the new learning and health ecosystem.
